Hello! Nice to meet you!

My name is Ola and I am a designer for animation from Poland, based in London, UK.

I have over 5 years of experience in TV and feature, working on a variety of projects for clients such as the BBC, Warner Brothers and Netflix. Although predominantly a background artist, I’ve fulfilled many roles throughout my career such as location design, colour keys, layout & prop design, and matte painting, and I’ve worked on 2D, CG and hybrid productions.

My work is characterized by dramatic lighting, bold colours and delicate detail. When doing personal work I love taking inspiration from the world around me - I live to travel and love bringing my memories to life through painting; finding the right moment, exaggerating the lighting, amplifying a certain emotion. My ambition is to be a colour key artist for feature films; I’m a huge fantasy nerd and I want to provide my viewers with the same feelings of fun, adventure and escapism.

For this purpose I’ve studied storytelling, clarity, cinematography… But when I’m not watching long emotional films or direct-to-video Disney sequels I love hiking, knitting, sewing and singing!
